I designed KICK’s KPP Fast Track application experience, helping creators with an established audience elsewhere apply through a dedicated route to Partnerships. Working with Creator Tools and Engagement, Design, and Partnerships, I completed the design in approximately one week, supported by competitor reviews, evaluation of the existing flow, and design QA.

Fast Track supported KICK’s creator-acquisition strategy by offering an alternative to first building a qualifying history on KICK. Its intended value was to make the platform more accessible to established creators and their audiences. Conversion, review speed, creator activation, and watch-hour improvements require measurement and are not claimed here.
A dedicated route for established creators
The application supported creators bringing an existing community to KICK, including those who had not yet started streaming on the platform.
Guidance before submission
Eligibility information helped creators understand whether Fast Track was relevant before providing their application details.
A clear application handoff
The flow collected creator information and confirmed submission, marking the transition to Partnerships’ review process.
An existing audience did not fit the standard application route
The standard partner route relied on a creator’s activity and audience on KICK. For someone with an established community elsewhere, that meant demonstrating a new platform presence before applying. Fast Track addressed this mismatch by providing a route based on an existing external community. My design challenge was to make that route understandable within the partner experience. Creators needed to identify the relevant path, understand the eligibility guidance, and provide the information Partnerships needed to begin reviewing their application.
I used competitor reviews, evaluated how Fast Track could adapt to the existing application flow, and incorporated Partnerships feedback during design.
These inputs served different purposes. Competitor reviews informed the exploration of application patterns. The existing flow provided the product context and interaction structure. Partnerships feedback helped shape what the application needed to communicate and collect.
The resulting direction was a focused creator-facing experience that connected eligibility guidance and submission within KICK’s established partner journey.
Clarify the route before asking for details
The partner experience needed to distinguish the standard route from Fast Track. I designed the entry and eligibility guidance to help creators understand which route applied to their situation before completing the application. This placed an important decision early in the journey: whether the creator was applying based on their KICK activity or an audience established elsewhere.
Adapt the existing flow to a different applicant
Fast Track served creators whose relevant audience could exist outside KICK. I evaluated the existing flow and adapted the application experience to accommodate that context, while maintaining continuity with the wider partner journey. The design needed to make the alternative route distinct enough to understand and familiar enough to navigate.
Collect information relevant to the application
The application gathered details about the creator and their external presence, including platform and channel information and contact details. Partnerships feedback informed the design so the information requested aligned with the purpose of the application. My responsibility was the experience of providing and submitting those details. Partnerships handled the assessment.
Version 1 connected:
• A dedicated Fast Track entry point within the partner experience.
• Eligibility guidance before application.
• Creator, external-platform, channel, and contact information.
• Application submission and confirmation.
I worked with Creator Tools and Engagement, Design, and Partnerships to complete the design in approximately one week.
My work included research during design and design QA. Version 1 shipped, with no specific revision arising from feedback or QA identified in this account.
KICK’s public partner page describes Fast Track as a route for people with an established community online, including those who are not yet KICK streamers, with their details sent directly to Partnerships.
Partnerships feedback informed the design, and design QA supported implementation. The delivery outcome was a shipped Version 1 application experience.
Applicant context should shape the application
A route for established external creators needs to account for where their audience already exists. Reviewing the existing flow helped identify how the experience should accommodate that context.
Operational input helps focus the design
Partnerships feedback connected the creator-facing application to the team receiving it. That input helped keep the design aligned with the purpose of the handoff.
A submission needs a clear endpoint
Confirmation helps applicants understand that their application step is complete. The review process remains a separate responsibility.
Let's work together
Good products rarely need more complexity.
They usually need someone willing to understand the problem deeply enough to remove it.
If you’re building something ambitious and need a senior designer who can move between product thinking, interaction, craft and delivery, I’d love to talk.
